Patriot has recently been updated to work with the most recent versions of Internet

troubles with this site, please consider the following instructions below to make
changes to your browser and remove compabitibility settings for the site's full
functionality.
If your operating system is Windows XP, view the section addressing
Windows XP for more help. If you are using Windows 7, view the section addressing
Windows 7 for more help. If you are using Windows 8, view
the section addressing Windows 8 for more help.
Windows XP
Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8 are under support from Microsoft until April
2014. Patriot will continue to support these platforms until their "end of life"
as defined by Microsoft. After that date, Patriot will no longer support these platforms.
To determine which version of Internet Explorer is installed, press the "F1" button
on the keyboard to launch the help dialog. The version of Internet Explorer will
be displayed. If the version is version 7 or below, please visit
www.microsoft.com to download the highest version available of Internet
Explorer that XP will support, which is Internet Explorer 8. Patriot will not function
correctly in versions of Internet Explorer 7 or below.
If you have determined that your version is 8 or above and you experience issues,
it may be because the site has been saved in compatibility mode. Navigate to the
Tools item on the menu bar (press F10 to display the menu bar if it is not shown)
and select "Compatibility View Settings." If the address located in the browser's
address bar is listed in the box "Websites you've added to Compatibility View,"
highlight the address in that box and click the "Remove" button to remove this site
from Compatibility View. This returns the viewing of this site back to IE 8 standards
mode.
Note: If you complete this and the next time you launch Patriot, you experience
the same issue, navigate back to the Compatibility View Settings dialog and be sure
the check box next to "Display intranet sites in Compatibility View" is UNCHECKED
as well as the check box next to "Display all websites in Compatibility View."
If you continue to experience issues, please contact your organization or Patriot
Software Solutions, Inc. for support.
Windows 7
If your operating system is Windows 7, versions of Internet Explorer 9 and above
are available for you. Patriot is optimized for Internet Explorer 11 and above and takes advangates
of new features added to the browser, but it is designed to work well with Internet
Explorer 9 & 10 as well, however some minor functionality may be lost. It is recommended that you always upgrade your version to the
latest version available.
If you are experiencing issues with this site in Internet Explorer 9 or above, it is
likely because the browser's settings were changed to render the site in compatibility
settings. In order to remove this site from compatibility settings, there are two
steps to undertake.
First, remove the site from the saved sites in the Compatibility View Settings dialog.
Navigate to the Tools item on the menu bar (press F10 to display the menu bar if
it is not shown) and select "Compatibility View Settings." If the address located
in the browser's address bar is listed in the box "Websites you've added to Compatibility
View," highlight the address in that box and click the "Remove" button to remove
this site from Compatibility View. This returns the viewing of this site back to
IE 8 standards mode.
This action may reload the site with the new browser standards settings and no further
action may be needed. If you continue to experience issues, you may have to launch
the F12 Developer Tools pane and manually changes the Browser Mode and Document
Mode settings.
Next (if necessary), in the top right of the browser window, click on the settings icon that looks like
a gear and select the F12 developer tools option. Alternately, you can press F10 to display the menu bar
and select the F12 developer tools option.
Finally, for IE 9 and 10, in the developer tools pane, click the Browser Mode menu item and select
the menu item with the highest version number available ("IE 10" or "IE 9"). Next,
click the Document Mode menu item and select the mode that matches the Browser Mode
you selected followed by the word "standards" (if necessary).
This action will likely force a refresh of the page and render the page with the
new settings in effect. If you continue to experience issues, please contact your
organization or Patriot Software Solutions, Inc. for support.
Windows 8
Windows 8 supports Internet Explorer 9 and beyond.
Patriot has been developed for and tested in these browsers in both the desktop
and "Modern UI" versions of each. If you experience issues with this site while
using Windows 8 with Internet Explorer 9 or above in desktop mode, please follow the
above instructions in the Windows 7 section.
If you experience issues with this site in the "Modern UI" mode of Internet Explorer,
you may need to clear any compability settings for this site. Navigate to the Windows
Desktop and launch Internet Explorer in desktop mode. Then follow the above instructions
in the Windows 7 section.
